A Nervous Symmetry – A Photobook by Kyun Ngui

A Nervous Symmetry is a limited-edition photobook by Kyun Ngui, with art direction by Brad Feuerhelm and design by Lee Tesche, published by Nearest Truth Editions.

Shot primarily in London and predominantly in black and white, the book unfolds as a unified sequence of images moving between the concrete and the atmospheric. The familiar slips into the dreamlike; moments of clarity dissolve into shadow or glare, then return again to the everyday.

Less concerned with documenting a place than with tracing a state of perception, A Nervous Symmetry explores mood, ambiguity, and the quiet rhythm of looking.
